Privacy Policy
Who We Are
This website is operated by local residents campaigning against the proposed travel plan for Sevenoaks Masjid Centre (planning application 25/02666/DETAIL). We are not affiliated with any commercial organisation.
The Simple Answer
We don't collect, store, or transmit your data anywhere. This site runs entirely in your browser.
What Data We Process
When you use the form, JavaScript in your browser processes:
- Your first name and last name
- Your full postal address and postcode
- Your email address
- Any additional comments you choose to include
This data never leaves your device. It is used only to generate a pre-filled email that opens in your email client.
How It Works (Technical Detail)
- You fill in the form on this webpage
- JavaScript running in your browser generates a unique email using spintax (random variations)
- When you click submit, your browser creates a
mailto:link - This link opens your default email client (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.) with the pre-filled objection
- You review the email and click send in your email client
- The email is sent directly from your email account to the council
At no point does your data pass through our servers, databases, or infrastructure. We have no servers. This is a static HTML website.
What We DO NOT Do
- ❌ Store your data in a database
- ❌ Send your data to any server
- ❌ Track you with cookies
- ❌ Use analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
- ❌ Share your data with third parties
- ❌ Sell or rent your data
- ❌ Send emails on your behalf (you send them yourself)
- ❌ Log IP addresses
- ❌ Use social media pixels
- ❌ Collect any data whatsoever
Data Storage and Retention
We store nothing. Once you close the browser tab, your data is gone from our site.
Your email will be stored by:
- Your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) in your "Sent" folder
- Sevenoaks District Council and Kent County Council as part of the planning consultation process (their retention policies apply)
Cookies and Tracking
This website does not use:

- Enabling two-factor authentication on your email account
- Using strong, unique passwords
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for adults participating in the planning consultation process. We do not knowingly process data from anyone under 16. Since we don't collect data at all, this is not a concern.
Open Source & Transparency
This website is built with simple HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You can:
- View the source code (right-click → View Page Source)
- Inspect the network tab in browser dev tools to confirm no data is sent to any server
- Review the JavaScript to see exactly what it does (it's not minified or obfuscated)
We encourage technically-minded users to verify our claims.
